Generous and seriously effective

One of my clients who I hadn’t seen for a decade (!) came in with an issue. This is what I received back in an email.

A fairly short lived shoulder issue was causing problems for a client who was about to take part in a highly prestigous croquet match - and Robin had upset the right shoulder. That’s the arm which takes much of the knock from hitting the ball with the mallet.

Fortunately, in amongst catching up on life and the twists of turns of it, I managed to ascertain what the shoulder story was. Following a detailed examination I deduced that the ball of the shoulder had slid forwards in its cup, and the long head of biceps tendon had also become displaced in its groove.

This meant that the whole shoulder complex was struggling - causing pain, some reduced movement and anxiety.

For me as an Osteopath though - this is easy to rectify. No Xrays or special tests needed - this is what you have ‘thinking fingers’ for.

This is what I set to work to do - with skilled hands, knowledge of anatomy, physiology and knowing what techniques to employ in which order to get everything re-aligned and happy once more.

‘So generous and seriously effective.
Thank you, always providing more.’

The result - one happy client. More surety about a good croquet result and confidence for the future.

I LOVE my ‘job’!
