Gayle Palmer

Clinic Director and Owner
Osteopath and Cranio-Sacral Therapist

Gayle Palmer

Gayle Palmer qualified in 1991 from the British School of Osteopathy and has always worked in at least 2 clinics concurrently – in Sidlesham and Birdham.

Gayle’s special interests lie in paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecological problems and she studied and worked at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London (Now the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy) for three years on a voluntary basis in the mid 1990s. Follow the links for more information about the above, including articles and more discussion.

In addition she has an interest in facial and dental problems and Gayle is a member of The Cranio Group for dentists and like-minded therapists who are interested in the function and development of the face, mouth and dentition.

Gayle is particularly fascinated in understanding and treating people who have long-standing, chronic problems which have not been helped by other therapies, whether conventional or not. There are various articles about these aspects of health in the Jump To section of the website, especially in News/Blog.

For regular newsletters and more information get our FREE newsletter and keep up-to-date with research, special offers, product information etc.

Gayle aims to treat as holistically as possible to the maximum benefit of her patients. To this end, she developed the clinic as a way to provide experts in their fields so that she could reliably and professionally refer her clients onto these therapists to resolve all (?!) or any of their healthcare issues that they may have. She has also developed a network of therapists outside of the clinic who she refers to as well. This ensures excellent continuity, safety and communication which is in YOUR best interests and your families.

“I am just as at home treating low back pain and sciatica, as I am a child with colic or chronic glue ear or croup! If you think you have a challenge for me, give me a call for a free 10minute, initial consultation and I will assess where it may lead and whether I think I can make a difference, though not a “cure”. You may be surprised as how unfazed I am!”

Whilst working as an assistant in Cheam for 18 months she set up the Birdham surgery at “Palmer’s”. (PO20 7HD) This still operates two half days a week on a Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon. If you need to contact her there, please call (01243) 512522. Follow the link for directions to Palmer’s..

Since qualifying in Osteopathy she has completed at least one week’s residential post-graduate training a year, mainly for Cranial Osteopathy and has run three post-graduate groups.

Work began on building the new Living Elements Clinic at her home in January 2004 and I am delighted to welcome you to this purpose-built, mixed osteopathic and complementary health clinic in Sidlesham, near Chichester. It was opened on 21st March 2005 by the Duchess of Richmond and Gordon.
