Mike McKenna has nearly seven years experience working in the field of nutrition and skin care, having trained and worked alongside some of the top names in both industries.
Having spent the past few years living and working in the Portsmouth area, Mike is now relocating back to Chichester.
Trained with several establishments including Dr Haushka, School of Natural Health, School of Human Sciences, Mike is devoted to continued education in order to better his understanding and that of his clients and hopes to join a degree course in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2011.
Mike has gained even greater experience, having run both health stores and health clinics.
I believe firmly that almost all ills are avoidable and certainly correctable through diet, I started training as a dancer at a very young age and became acutely aware of how big a role diet played and ultimately, what could happen if the body was not supplied correctly.
My passion was provoked even further when I began to experiment with herbs and trained in skin care. It became ever more apparent to me that the easiest and most successful route to optimum health was not through manipulating the body, but supporting its own defences and responses, an attitude that is quickly gaining support from the results of many clinical trials on herbs and supplements.
Working with nutrition is not so much a job for me, as a personal obsession, when im not working in the conventional sense, I can be found giving talks or demonstrations throughout the south coast.
Treatments I offer include: Nutrition, Body Wraps and personalized skin creams.

Qualifications and training details:
- Nutritional Therapy (S.N.H.S.H.I.Dip. Nutritional Therapy)
- Level 3 Advanced Nutrition. (S.A.C.Dip. Clinical Nutrition)
- Supplement Advisor (H.S.R. Cert National Training Institute)
- P.N. Certificate in Nutritional Supplements. (Approved by National Pharmaceutical Association(NPA)).
- Appointed First Aider – NUCO Medic Services
- Reiki Level II Practitioner
- Skin Care Training – Trilogy, Dr Hauschka, Carlton Inst.
