Victoria Ray is a highly trained and experienced sports therapist.
Formerly working in Gosport she has relocated to this area.
Trained in sports massage by the Southsea School of Massage, I have further trained in Quantum Medicine to better my techniques and to help speed up the recovery times of sports injuries.
I believe greatly in the power of massage; however I have dedicated my time and expertise mainly to Pre-sport and rehabilitation of serious sports professionals/retired athletes.
I myself have grown up with a great interest in sports having been a competitive swimmer, England lacrosse player and aspiring golf player. My interest was further provoked by my son’s dedication to rugby and the many injuries we came across throughout the season.
My decision to train in sports massage came about after seeing the length of time players could remain out of play with injuries.
Coming from a military background and living in a military area, I spend a great deal of my time with military sports players and have enjoyed working alongside military teams.
I have a varied background of sports however my passion is rugby and am involved with many clubs, the Royal Navy Rugby League, Andover RFC, Havant RFC and Gosport RFC.
As you can imagine I am presented with a wide variety of injuries on a weekly basis and with my perseverance and dedication to my clients, coupled with my desire to get players back on the pitch, produces an excellent success rate. During my two years at my clinic in Gosport, I treated many different sports related injuries as well as everyday injuries and have just set up a page on facebook, called BIOGENESIS SPORTS INJURY CLINIC (MOBILE) as well as my website www.quantumsportsmassage.co.uk where you can see some of my testimonials.
I am currently offering an introductory price for a sports massage at £35.00, valid until 31st August 2010 when booked at Living Elements clinic, Sidlesham and am happy to undertake the most challenging of problems including injuries that have been a problem up to 40 years.
